The Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) awarded a research group that includes Dr. Mark Chapman, Director of Tyndale University’s Doctor of Ministry program, and his team an initiative grant for a project entitled “Flourishing Congregations in Canada”.

Tyndale Now Offers A Fully Online Accredited MDiv
On September 30, 2020, Tyndale became the first accredited seminary in Canada to offer a fully online Master of Divinity program after receiving Senate approval to remove residency requirements.

Tyndale Forms Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Council
Tyndale University has appointed an Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion. The council will be co-chaired by a Cabinet member and a staff member; Dr. Barry Smith, Sr. Vice President Academic & Dean of Undergraduate Studies, and Karen Gallimore, Director Campus & Conference Services.

Fall Tuition Questions Answered
There have been questions about whether tuition this fall will be reduced since courses are going to be delivered online and through distributed formats. The tuition and fees students pay is a significant investment. Even within this format, Tyndale University’s commitment to continuing to deliver academic excellence and unique student experiences is unchanged.

However, nurturing understanding, reconciliation and building community amidst racial and cultural diversity is a challenging, complex process. The current racial tensions in the United States has only heighted an awareness that Canada is not exempt from those tensions.
