Grace Chiu

My spiritual journey has two major breakthroughs. The first one occurred after eight years’ ministry in a Christian youth organization, when I studied counselling. I then discovered why I have difficulties getting close to God. Connecting with my emotions becomes the pathway of self-acceptance, building secure attachment with God, and experiencing His love profoundly. The second breakthrough is facilitated by my spiritual director, who helps me listen to God with new sensitivity and experience His presence and work in ordinary life. After twenty years of counselling work, God calls me to accompany people, especially caregivers, in their spiritual journey to deepen relationship with God and experience His transforming love. I am married with two children. I am available in person (at Tyndale University) or online most of the time from Monday to Friday except Wednesdays.
