About Alexandra Yeung
Alexandra embraces compassion, empathy, and warmth as necessities for connecting with others and opening up safe spaces for conversations and healing. She takes a trauma-informed, integrative approach to therapy, grounding her practice in Narrative and Cognitive Behavioural therapy techniques. Her past experience as part of a family health team specializing in older adults, a non-profit supporting those who live with HIV/AIDs, and a forum dedicated to young adults journeying through life challenges, has cultivated a profound understanding of what it means to foster genuine connection with a diverse demographic of people. She especially has an interest in working with those who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, questions of faith and spirituality, and sexuality/gender concerns. She enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with family and friends during her free time.
