Laura Zhang

Laura brings a diverse background to her counselling work, including experience in the financial industry and career planning, where she supported individuals through life transitions. In her church ministry, she has journeyed alongside missionaries and local partners engaged in outreach and mission work. In therapy, Laura offers a warm, patient, and non-judgmental presence, with a deep capacity to listen and walk with others through both struggle and growth. Guided by her Christian faith and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, she integrates emotional and spiritual care. Her areas of interest include self-awareness, self-confidence, emotion regulation, communication, relationships, sexuality, and faith and spirituality. With an immigration background and a cross-cultural marriage, Laura is culturally sensitive and open-minded, with insight into the challenges of cultural adjustment and building relationships across differences. She finds joy in connecting with God through nature and values helping people discover strength, hope, and perseverance in their stories.
