About Mariana Walker
Mariana is a warm, compassionate, and supportive psychotherapist who works collaboratively with clients to create a safe and non-judgemental space for healing, growth, and fulfillment. She has experience working with adults of all ages facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, other mood-related disorders, emotion dysregulation, decision-making, stress management, and more. Mariana integrates various evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailoring her work to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Her areas of interest include self-compassion and mindfulness-based practices. She strives to make clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She believes that small steps can lead to meaningful change in our journeys to live a life according to our values. Outside the therapy room, Mariana enjoys hiking, swimming, and spending time with her cat.
