Biography
Gillian Brown is a dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience across public, private, and independent school systems in Canada and Australia. She has a strong background in literacy intervention, differentiated instruction, inclusive education, and teacher development. Gillian has contributed to curriculum design, assessment planning, and the mentorship of teacher candidates as an Associate Teacher, Faculty Advisor, and Sessional Instructor, including roles at Edith Cowan University and the University of Western Australia. Her passions lie in evidence-based literacy practices, mentorship, and responsive student support. She is committed to creating equitable, student-centered learning environments and has led initiatives to strengthen literacy instruction and intervention for diverse learners.
