Biography

Davinson is a Latino-Canadian scholar and ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. He enjoys teaching Koine Greek, both as an academic discipline and as a tool for spiritual formation. Davinson and his wife, Halyna, live in Downtown Toronto where he is currently pursuing a PhD at Wycliffe College. They are both immigrants to Canada—Davinson from Colombia and Halyna from Ukraine. They have two young children, Eva Beth (4 y/o) and Eli Benjamin (1.5 y/o).
