Overview
The Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Leadership with a Concentration in Women and Ministry focuses on solid biblical, theological, and historical foundations for women and leadership. Men and women will be equipped to support the spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional health of female participants, volunteers and leaders in the church. This includes refinement of hermeneutical skills, theological enrichment, and historical awareness. Students will interact with different models of leadership while becoming aware of vocational issues unique to women.
The completion of a portfolio will allow students to create and define a personal model of leadership while undertaking a field ministry research project that looks at an aspect of women and leadership in their context. Students will be introduced to and interact with women who have current and relevant leadership experience as they reflect upon how to lead well within their own contexts.
The admissions committee is looking for students with a Master of Divinity (MDiv) or equivalent degree who have at least three years of Christian ministry experience post-graduation. View Admissions Requirements →
