Biography

After pastoring in Muslim-majority contexts for close to fifteen years, Alex has cultivated a deep commitment to fostering respectful Christian witness among Muslims and building bridges across diverse communities. Described by his spiritual director as a “border walker,” Alex is passionate about theologizing in the in-between spaces, which naturally draws him to intercultural studies and comparative theology.

Alex is an adjunct faculty member at Fuller Seminary teaching Theology of Mission, and works as an Intercultural Leadership Consultant at the Tyndale Intercultural Ministries Centre. His research has been published in international peer-reviewed journals including International Bulletin of Mission Research and Studies in World Christianity, as well as in the Journal of the Evangelical Missiological Society.

Alex will be teaching a course on Developing Intercultural Competency for Ministry in the Spring Summer 2026 semester.
