Overview

This program equips Canadian Christian leaders to lead with greater effectiveness in today’s diverse and intercultural environments. Through this certificate program, participants will cultivate intercultural humility, strengthen essential skills and competencies, and gain the insights and knowledges necessary for meaningful missional engagement in the Canadian context.

• Spiritual Formation for Intercultural Life (January 2026)
• Biblical and Theological Groundings for Intercultural Ministry (May 2026) 
• Growing in Intercultural Competency (May 2026) 
• Gospel, Culture and the Canadian Context (October 2026) 

Format

• Fully Online - self-directed, self-paced
• Facilitated learning - a facilitator will journey with you through the course as a conversation partner and to provoke deeper reflection
• Assessments - completion of writing assignments, reading requirements, reflection/assessment components and interaction with facilitator. No exam.
• Structure - 6 modules per course
• Time - 20 hours of structured learning + 20 hours of independent work
• "Spiritual Formation for Intercultural Life" is a mandatory pre-requisite before taking any other course
• Take the remaining three courses in whichever order suits you best
