Certificate or Diploma in Mosaic Missional Ministry

In collaboration with the Canadian Mosaic Christian Alliance, TIM Centre offers both a diploma and certification course to equip leaders for mission work from everywhere to everywhere.

The certificate program is four (4) courses and the Diploma program is eight (8) courses.

Required Courses for Certificate and Diploma

  • Life As Mission Basic 
  • Intercultural Competency and Communication
  • Kairos Course & Mission Planting 
  • Kingdom Life Basic

Elective Courses for Diploma - 4 courses above + any four electives 

  • The Theology and Practice of Diaspora & Multiethnic Missions
  • Missional Worship & Preaching
  • The Bible & Christian Worldview 
  • Mission as Hospitality in the Multicultural Society
  • The Church and Missions in History
  • Prayer & Missions

Each course is worth 3 credits and involves 24 hours of instruction. To obtain the Certificate, students must complete the four mandatory courses. To obtain the Diploma, students must complete the four mandatory courses plus any four elective courses.

Partnership

Canadian Mosaic College (CMC)

Graduates from both levels will be qualified as Intercultural Ministries Partners (local missionaries) by TIM Centre and CMC. Endorsing churches may cover half of the tuition in support of training missional leaders in local churches and developing multiethnic-diaspora workers.

Course Guide

  • Curriculum: covers two semesters (12 weeks per semester) with intensive lectures on missions and urban missions practice.
  • Period of Study: Sep 16, 2025 - May 15, 2026 (7:30 pm - 10:00 pm)
  • Lecture Venue: Online & Tyndale University, 3377 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, ON M2M 3S4
  • Tuition: $300 per course (3 credits) / $1,200 for 4 mandatory courses (12 credits) / $2,400 for 8 courses (24 credits). Financial aid with local churches in order to receive 50% scholarship support from endorsing churches.
