About Peter Berg

Peter has over ten years of experience working with youth and young adults in a variety of settings, and he has walked closely with people of all ages who are experiencing difficult circumstances. He approaches people as a curious and empathetic listener, recognizing that many people have seldom if ever been given the opportunity to fully explore the struggles they are facing. Having being through a health crisis himself, Peter has a heart especially for people who feel as though things are becoming unmanageable. He recognizes the courage it takes, and the trust it requires, to open up to someone, and he has faith in the healing and growth that can occur in that place of trust, honesty and exploration. Peter has an interest in helping people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, physical health, trauma, questions of faith and spirituality, self-worth, shame/guilt, personal development, life-stage transitions, relationships, grief and loss. In his spare time he enjoys campfires with family and friends, swimming, paddle boarding, acting in plays, renovation projects, and tending his vegetable garden.
